What is Cahoot’s?

We are chef duo Meg and Dave, offering a private dining and catering service in the high desert area of Southern California; serving Joshua Tree, Yucca Valley, Palm Springs and beyond.

What is your food all about?

We believe in the power of good food to revitalize, energize and to connect people through the experience of sharing and dining together. We specialize in cooking over open fire, amongst the outdoors, communing with the wild desert around us. We prioritize fresh produce and bold flavors whilst exploring a whole enthralling world of food culture and cuisine.

Can you do gluten free?

We take all dietary restrictions seriously, and since no two menus are the same we can tailor a specific menu just for your needs, tastes, likes and dislikes. As two ex-vegans we truly do love the chance to cater for specific diets, and that means we never skimp on flavor.

We’re also 100% nut free.

Are you expensive?

We know, hiring a chef is rarely going to be cheap. We are a high-end service and not everyone is going to see the best value in the quality we offer. But we believe in what we do, we offer it with love and skill and expertise, and despite the increasing costs of produce and energy and running a business we still think we offer excellent value in a whole range of services.
